EDBA operates exclusively with qualified institutional counterparties. Every mandate is subject to internal due diligence and standard compliance procedures before any commercial activity is initiated.
Every counterparty is identified and verified before engagement. We require formal corporate documentation and beneficial ownership disclosure consistent with institutional standards.
Mandates are screened against anti-money-laundering criteria. Source of funds and commercial rationale must be transparent and verifiable.
Counterparties, jurisdictions and end-users are screened against applicable sanctions regimes, including UN, EU, UK and US frameworks. EDBA does not engage in sanctioned or restricted flows.
All engagements are governed by confidentiality obligations. Counterparty information, commercial terms and mandate details are handled on a strict need-to-know basis.
EDBA acts under written mandate as commercial representative or business development partner. Scope, geographies and counterparties are defined in advance with our principals.
Each opportunity is reviewed internally before introduction. EDBA reserves the right to decline any engagement that does not meet its compliance or reputational standards.
EDBA accepts a limited number of mandates and counterparties each year. Engagements are conducted by introduction and subject to internal due diligence.
